Our full and part-time staff positions include:

Behavior Therapist:

This position requires a bachelor's degree in psychology, special education, or a related field. Exceptional applicants who haven't completed their bachelor's degree will be considered if they have considerable experience working in this field and have a strong scholastic record. The behavior therapist will receive an intensive initial training course followed by ongoing in-service training and supervision. All behavior therapists are also required to attend staff update meetings.

 

Behavior Therapist II:

This position requires the above qualifications plus the successful completion of an examination demonstrating a wide breadth of knowledge and a complete skill set achieved after at least one year's experience in the field.

 

Senior Therapist:

The senior therapist will have fulfilled the qualifications of a behavior therapist, with the addition of at least two year's experience in the field and the successful completion of an examination demonstrating an advanced level of knowledge in the field of applied behavior analysis. Senior therapists may be called on to supervise and train behavior therapists, write reports, perform assessments, and recommend program changes to supervisors.

Supervisor:

Must have either a master's degree in psychology, special education, or a related field; or a special education teaching credential. They must have over two years of experience working within the field. The supervisor designs, coordinates, and modifies behavioral programs. The supervisor also provides regular supervision for senior therapists and behavior therapists, performs ongoing and initial assessments (including functional analyses), and will write follow-up reports.

  • Registered Psychological Assistants (California only)

All positions receive both mileage reimbursement and reimbursement for time spent traveling between clients. All employees will be required to pass an extensive background and reference check.
